Daytona 500 Mass Band Performance

In existence for over 50 years, the Daytona 500 is known for its spectacular venue, family-oriented setting and the sights and sounds that only a NASCAR event can provide its fans and viewers.

Now you and your band have the opportunity to be a part of the Daytona 500 on February 26, 2012 in Daytona Beach, Florida! Your band will have the opportunity to perform in front of thousands of race fans as you march onto Pit Road during the Pre-Show festivities. The Pre-Show also features a top musical act to get the crowd revved up before the start of the race. In past years, guests included Brad Paisley, Bon Jovi and Keith Urban!

Have your cameras ready for possible celebrity sightings, while waiting to step off onto Pit Road. Recently, actor Josh Duhamel was spotted as he was promoting his film “Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon.” (Life-sized Transformers from the actual movie set that you could be photographed with were parked on Pit Road.) This year, Fergie, lead singer of the Black Eyed Peas, helped to get the race underway with the famous line “Gentleman, start your engines”!

Following your performance, take your seats in the backstretch and feel the excitement as 43 of the top drivers in the world race to compete in The Great American Race.

A mass band rehearsal will take place on Saturday morning for all participants. Along with participation in the festivities of the Daytona 500, why not take in the vast amount of attractions and theme parks in and around the Central Florida area?
